WEWRIWA Submission: 10-19-14

“Good,” Antonin muttered half-impressed. “I suppose you’re at least capable of retaining information, even if your sense of responsibility is left for want.”

Garrett bit his tongue, swallowing the anger that his comments instilled. His father was always assuming he was a worthless wreck cavorting about Upper, incapable of comprehending his carefully constructed business plans.

Normally, it would have sent Garrett seething for at least an hour after his father was finished with him, but the drugs Nara given him had provided him with an additional shield of resilience. It was hard for him to care about being slighted by his father’s malignant words while under its influence.

“Yes, sir.”
