WEWRIWA Submission 1-11-14

The earth shook as black thorny vines sprouted, clawing their way to the air. Tendrils wrapped themselves around her limbs, piercing her flesh as it pinned the rest of her body to the steel beams, as if the chains were not humiliation enough. The more she fought, the more she bled. The crowd chattered in approval, satisfied that justice would finally be served.

The black robed human paused and ordered the flood of murmurs to cease. The earth clamored once more, opening chasms around her. A multitude of voices screamed out in agony, pouring out from the rifts, her fallen comrades demanding revenge, demanding her blood. Behind her she could hear whispers, voices sealing deals as money exchanged hands.
