WEWRIWA Submission - 3-28-15

The vendor promptly disappeared into a veil of steam to prepare the order. As the chef lifted the lid of an enormous cooking vessel, a wonderful spicy aroma seeped into the air. He ladled out a dark red broth over two bowls full of thin, white noodles. He placed a variety of meats, roots, and vegetables on top, before finishing with a garnish of an odd blue, sweet smelling spice Garrett was unfamiliar with.

The fragrance overwhelmed Garrett as he sat down. A pleasant smoky, meaty scent, as if something created from perfectly cooked and seasoned fish, welcomed him to enjoy. He was glad he had a guide show him what was good to eat, without having to worry about whether it was safe for his biology.
